New Pain-iacs!

We listed a very cool, extremely limited ADD-ON reward to the campaign this morning and it's only available to you guys, not to the general public. I mean, we can't prevent them from finding out about it on their own but we're only telling you.

Only 25 copies of this bootleg edition will be printed in PENCILS-ONLY (with lettering) raw form. The cover art will be full color, it's being worked on now. Limited to 1 copy per backer and only available for 48 hours. If you want one for yourself, by all means act fast! Let's get to unlocking those stretch goals together!

While I've got your attention, be sure to check out  MALICENT BLACK by the father/son team of Lee and Drew Ferguson, who also created the great Sam And His Talking Gun. 

I backed the Gary Frank cover because GARY FRANK, mother effers! Malicent Black is funded, I love it, Kickstarter loves it and the father/son duo (I wish my kids would make a comic with me!) have 14 days left to smash some stretch goals, Hulk-style. Check it out for some great sci-fi horror!

And let's not forget about our favorite NSFW sci-fi project,  METAL HEAD #2! 

Michael Katz and his team are pretty close to being funded and I can tell you from experience, it's excruciating when your project is so close to the finish line. If you missed out on chapter 1, don't worry: you can get it through his campaign. As an extra incentive, people that back both of our campaigns are going to get a free print drawn by Bruno Abdias featuring characters from both our series. The print art is currently being drawn and will be included with the Metal Head packages when that campaign fulfills. When you back Metal Head, just leave a comment with the word, "JUMP" so we can keep track.

New Pain-iacs!

I woke up this morning to a notification on my phone that our New Pain Two-In-One campaign is funded! As far as starting out on Monday mornings go, I can think of a lot worse ways to kick the week off. Thank you all that have pledged, shared and supported this project. I do all the talking but believe me, all of us at New Pain are very excited to get these books in your hands. 

How excited? Well, we're so happy that we said "SCREW THE STRETCH GOALS" and unlocked Rich Stahnke's variant homage cover EARLY! Cover "E" is now available as a reward and add on.  

In addition, digital editions of NPC JUMP #1 and UNCOVERED #1 are now also available as add-ons, in case you've gotten one and want to add a digital copy of the other. There will be another cool add-on or two coming for week three so keep your eyes on this space for more details. Our next stretch goal, by the way, is a nifty New Pain refrigerator magnet for all our physical backers, when we hit that threshhold. 

PODCAST ALERT!

A few days ago, New Pain's best good friend Michael Katz (check out his campaign for METAL HEAD 2, currently very close to being funded, HERE), New Pain's color artist Rich Stahnke and New Pain's biggest idiot, me, recorded an episode of Fantastic Comic Fan. We learned about Rich, revealed some info about our projects and generally just enjoyed talking about comic books for close to an hour. If you want to check it out, just click the graphic below.

And last but not least, another very cool project I want to bring your attention to is:

The Fabled Offering is a 40-page sci-fi fantasy one-shot epic about a lone princess on a harrowing quest to save herself and her kingdom from her own past trauma. Attempting to reach the peak of Gefyra Mountain while carrying her unborn child, Grand Princess Aurelia of Talendius will stop at nothing to meet The Ancient Cizin aboard their starship, the Idis. Will Cizin accept her offering?

I like me some fantasy and the talented (and coolly named) Nandor Fox Shaffer and his crew look like they're firing on all cylinders with this one. They're fully funded with 4 days left.
